Significant refurbishment and expansion of South Shields crematorium.
The work included adding a gull wing roof to cover the original courtyard and linking the new space to the existing building to greatly increase mourner capacity.
In addition, both the main entrance and waiting room have also benefited from complete makeover to create a more welcoming and contemporary feel to the building.
