From 6am on 8th January we will be closing the road at Church Street, Durham, while construction works are on going at nos. 31-33 Church Street. The road will be closed for two weeks, subject to completion of works. During this time, pedestrian access will still be available however, southbound traffic will be diverted via Stockton Road. Northbound traffic will be diverted via Hallgarth Street and then Stockton Road. To see the detailed traffic management plans please click on the various links below:-
