Brief description of works

New science-based learning centre in grounds of existing school, two-stage design and build contract but operating on a partnered basis.

 

The project included many ‘sustainable’ features including photovoltaic panels, a wind turbine, rainwater recycling and a computerised energy

management system.

 

Subcontract arrangements

Variety of standard ‘Egan compliant’ forms with back to back conditions relating to the main contract.
