Brief description of works
‘All age’ academy. New city academy and primary school on two separate sites. Academy is in established residential area. Primary school was constructed alongside an existing school that was subsequently demolished.
Project procured under a two stage partnering process.
Environmental features
Full building management system for energy use. Biomass heat source. Ground-source heat pump. Grey water harvesting system. ‘Green’ specification.
Subcontract arrangements
Variety of standard ‘Egan compliant’ forms with back to back conditions relating to the main contract.
